KC BizFest

KC BizFest offers high school sophomores, juniors and seniors in the Greater Kansas City area an opportunity to learn a variety of life skills and business techniques. The majority of KC BizFest participants come from the emerging Latino Community but everyone is invited to apply. During a four-day intensive training seminar, KC BizFest focuses on helping students turn hobbies and skills into profit-making ventures, establish entrepreneurial and leadership goals, create plans for business and life, and become effective leaders and team players.

Latinos of Tomorrow

Latinos of Tomorrow (LOTs) is a year-round college preparation, readiness, and retention program designed to help high school and college students with their educational advancement, career development, and civic involvement.

Young Latino Professionals

Young Latino Professionals (YLP) is comprised of a network of more than 350 passionate individuals with diverse backgrounds that represent a variety of industries. YLP provides opportunities for young leaders to engage with like-minded peers through social and professional networking, philanthropic outreach, and professional development.

Comida KC

Comida is Kansas City’s first Culinary Arts event that showcases the cuisines of Latin America, Brazil, & Spain. The event includes visiting celebrity chefs, local chefs, restaurateurs, and cutting edge mixologists. Comida educates the community about the diversity and variety of Latin cultures through unique cuisines, specialty cocktails, visual and performing arts. Event proceeds benefit our education programs.

Folklore

Folklore is a new and refreshing yearly event during Hispanic Heritage Month that brings together artists, entrepreneurs, organizations, business owners, young professionals, and the community at large to recognize and celebrate the Latino community’s influence and accomplishments in Kansas City. The Greater KC Hispanic Collaborative, The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Wells Fargo and Fresco Marketing have partnered to take this celebration a step further and create a greater impact within the community.
